The Americans who fight for our country come home with both physical and psychological wounds. The Elks are hosting our 5th Annual Elks Care Elks Share 5K Road Race & Walk to help ease the burdens they face.
The Franklin Elks Care and try to do as much as we can for our Veterans by serving those who have served for us. Will you join us in honoring our bravest?
You are making a difference by teaming up with us. The main beneficiary of our race is the Fisher House of Boston Foundation. They recognize not only the special sacrifices made by our men and women who serve in uniform, but also their loved ones. The Fisher House Boston is a home away from home where our military families can stay while a loved one is receiving in-house treatment at one of our medical centers. Any veteran or military personnel, wartime or peacetime, is eligible to have a family member stay at a Fisher House. These homes are built on the grounds of major military and VA medical centers.
It is a privilege and honor to give our best effort for our 5th year for such a great cause! Will you join us in making a difference in Veterans lives who are in Massachusetts?
A portion of the proceeds will also go to our Lodge's "Oil for Vets" Fund which provides heat for our Veterans & their families in Massachusetts.
